Privacy

Effective date: October 2026. The short version: we collect almost nothing, and we sell nothing.

What we collect

Waitlist and accounts. When you join the waitlist we store your email address, your chosen role, and any plan interest you select — nothing else. When you sign in we store your email and the searches you save (their name, filters, counties, bid bounds and sale type). If you subscribe, we also store your plan and subscription status alongside the payment processor’s customer and subscription ids. A watchlist you build while signed out stays in your browser’s local storage and never reaches us.

Server logs. Our hosting records standard request logs (client IP address, requested path, response status, latency) for security and rate limiting, kept for as long as the host’s log policy retains them. Query strings, request bodies, cookies and tokens are never logged — that matters because our digest confirm and unsubscribe links carry a token. We do not use advertising trackers or sell traffic data.

What we do with it

Your email is used to confirm your waitlist spot and, later, to deliver sale-date reminders and alerts you ask for. Role and plan interest are used to decide which launch emails you get. No third-party email lists, no ad networks.

Removal

Ask us at the contact page and we delete your waitlist or account record, or use the unsubscribe link in any email. Account deletion is immediate: your saved searches are removed with it. If a paid subscription is still active when you delete, we keep the billing record without your email or identity until that subscription ends, because accounting requires it — everything that could be linked back to you is dropped at once.

Cookies

We use local storage for your theme and watchlist while you’re not signed in. When accounts ship, a login session cookie is set as strictly necessary. No analytics cookies.

Data sources

The data we publish is public-record tax sale information from counties and statutes; it is not personal data and is not subject to this policy’s controls.
