5. 5.Pay the purchase price with certified funds (cash, cashier's check, or certified check issued or certified by an FDIC- or FSLIC-insured financial institution)
6. 6.The Tax Commissioner issues and records a tax deed in the purchaser's name; the owner has one year after the sale to redeem by paying the purchase price plus 20 percent
